FUNDRAISING AT HOLY TRINITY 2007
TALENTS
Several members of the congregation have taken part in the ‘talents’ project whereby they have been given £10 from the PCC. They ten go out and make the money grow using their talents. This concludes in May when we will find out exactly how much we have raised for Church funds.
SAFARI SUPPER
On March the 17th we held our first safari supper which was a great success. We raised about £1,000 for church funds. Many thanks to the hosts and organisers of this event and of course to all the guests.
FETE—9th June 2007
This year’s fete will be held in the grounds of the Village Hall rather than the vicarage garden. The facilities will therefore be available and much more convenient for everyone. Since the Vicarage Hall was removed, there have been no toilet facilities or kitchen available and the use of cables and marquees were becoming difficult and even causing health and safety issues in some cases. This also means if it does rain we can easily move inside without too much disruption to the events.
SUMMER PICNIC WITH JAZZ
There will be an event in the Vicarage Garden this year. On July the 28th there will be a picnic with jazz. We will bring our own food.
AUCTION 2007 15 September
As there was no auction in March, it has been moved to the 15th September in the Village Hall. Again we will not be accepting very large items of furniture. There will be lunches with wine, a raffle, cake stall and hopefully lots of items to auction off. The Auction is always a fun event and you can be sure of going home with a bargain.
